Member Benefits: Corporate membership
There are many benefits for corporations who join the Young Leadership Council. Our mission statement states that we are developing leadership through community projects. What that means for our corporate members is that your employees will have a chance to both improve our city and region directly and along the way learn leadership skills directly by leading our projects and interact with people who will be our community's future leaders.
Community – The YLC provides an “assembly ground” of young, engaged professionals. Your employees will meet a dynamic community of people at our monthly meetings, special events and volunteer projects.
Information –Your employees will be better informed about what’s going on in our city through the YLC’s e-newsletter and through our website (register above to join the mailing list).
Access – If your employees choose to dedicate their time to project leadership, our board, and our executive board, they will have the opportunity to interact with business, civic and government organizations and leaders.
Leadership Training – The hallmark of our organization is the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills. The YLC provides a multitude of chances for leadership training through community service projects, as well as signature programs including the Leadership Development Series, Leadership Lunches, Toastmasters Club and Professional Development Series.
Job Bank – As a corporate member you can list your open positions on our website for free.
Click on the following links for our Membership Application in Word and PDF format.
Each of your employees who will be representing you with the YLC should fill out our Corporate Member Information Sheet (PDF and Word versions).
